HS83-A-P Series Current Sensor/Transducer
Open-Loop Sensor (EV)

HS83-A-P Series Current Sensor/Transducer

For the precise electronic measurement of various types of currents, including direct current (DC), alternating current (AC), and pulsed currents, devices with galvanic isolation are essential. Galvanic separation ensures that there is no direct electrical connection between the primary circuit, where the current is being measured, and the secondary circuit, where measurements and data are recorded or processed. This isolation protects both the measurement instrumentation and the operator from potential high-voltage hazards, prevents ground loops, and minimizes signal interference, ensuring accurate and reliable current readings even in complex electrical environments. These measurement systems often employ transformers, opto-couplers, or Hall-effect sensors to achieve the required isolation.
