The "Bingzi" potion-sealed pulse transformer is often employed alongside thyristors and is typically connected between the control trigger unit and the thyristor electrode within thyristor equipment. Its primary functions are to transmit the initiating pulse and to provide reliable isolation between high and low-power circuits.

    According to the volt-microsecond product ∫udt and the frequency fp of the trigger pulse, the volt-microsecond product of the known trigger pulse should be less than or equal to the rated volt-microsecond product of the KCB trigger transformer in the frequency range.
    This is a kind of high voltage fully enclosed thyristor trigger transformer with excellent performance and structure. It has the characteristics of small size and compact structure, but its most significant feature is high electrical resistance, especially suitable for the use of thyristor control circuits with high operating voltage.
